BLACKPINK’s Jennie Kim and BTS’s V (Kim Taehyung) turned heads at Incheon International Airport today as they set off for Paris Fashion Week. Fans crowded the terminal to catch a glimpse of the two stars, who both showed up in looks that perfectly reflected their fashion identities.
Jennie, who has been Chanel’s global ambassador since 2019, kept things classy and chic in a navy blue Chanel coat from the brand’s Fall-Winter 2025/26 pre-collection. She layered it over a simple beige top and finished the look with pinstripe pants, striking a balance between effortless and elegant.
It’s exactly the kind of understated, Parisian-inspired style that makes her such a natural fit for the house. Jennie is heading to Paris for Chanel’s Spring/Summer 2026 show on October 6, one of the most talked-about events of the season. Even with BLACKPINK on break from tour, she’s been busy balancing her solo projects under Odd Atelier with global fashion commitments, and her airport departure was another reminder of why she’s a front-row favorite.
V, on the other hand, brought his own brand of cool in a full Celine look. He wore a relaxed checkered cotton twill shirt paired with max jeans in cotton denim, giving off a laid-back vibe, but he added a satin silk tie to keep the outfit polished.
The real standout was his medium Smiling Supple Shiny Bag from Celine, which he personalized with a Hirono “Living Wild – Fight for Joy” plush doll. The plush doll, as expected, completely sold out in a flash.
The idols headed to Paris with just about an hour between their departures. EXO’s Kai also left for Paris around the same time. Since Jennie previously dated Kai and was later rumored to be seeing V, the internet quickly lit up at the sight of the rumored exes traveling to the same destination.
Paris Fashion Week is in full swing for the Spring/Summer 2026 season, and this year is especially exciting with major debuts from new creative directors at some of the world’s most iconic fashion houses. The S/S 2026 season is a big one. Chanel is preparing for a historic moment with Matthieu Blazy’s debut as Creative Director on October 6. On the contrary, Celine continues its fresh direction under American designer Michael Rider, who showed his first collection in July 2025. With both stars closely tied to these brands, their arrival in Paris feels perfectly timed.
As Chanel’s Global Ambassador, Jennie has long been a muse for the house. Earlier this year, she attended the Haute Couture show in Paris, turning heads at the Grand Palais with her signature style. Given her strong relationship with the brand, it’s highly likely she will make an appearance at Blazy’s highly anticipated first Chanel show.
V, who has previously sat front row at Celine, is also no stranger to Paris Fashion Week. He was seen at Michael Rider’s debut for the brand back in July, showing his support for the new creative direction. Celine will showcase its Spring/Summer 2026 collection on Sunday, October 5.
