Jeon Yeo Been and Namkoong Min are considering joining forces for a new drama, Our Film (working title), and fans can’t wait to see the magic they might create together.
The Vincenzo actress is in talks to play the female lead in the upcoming drama opposite Namkoong Min.
On July 3, a broadcasting official confirmed, stating, “Jeon Yeo Been has received an offer to be the lead in the new tvN drama ‘Our Movie’ and is positively reviewing it.”
As per the official, she is nearing finalization of her role in the upcoming drama, where she’ll portray a terminally ill actor who chooses to star in a film as her final endeavor.
The story follows the poignant journey of a director and a terminally ill actor as they work together on the movie.
Namkoong Min, who recently made waves for his role in MBC’s My Dearest, is set to play the role of a film director who creates a movie about a terminally ill actor. His character is a talented but struggling newcomer who finds love with Jeon Yeo Been’s character, despite his career slump.
Jeon Yeo Been is a highly sought-after star in both the film and television industries. After her breakout year in 2023 with the movie Cobweb and the Netflix series A Time Called You, she is currently shooting The Black Nuns with Song Hye Kyo.
Furthermore, she is in discussions to star in the upcoming drama Made in Korea alongside Hyun Bin and Jung Woo Sung.
The upcoming drama Our Film will be helmed by director Lee Jung Heum and penned by Han Ga-eun and Kang Kyung Min. Beyond J will be responsible for production. The team is currently in the process of finalizing the cast, including main and supporting roles, with announcements expected soon.
