Her agency also officially confirmed the news, sharing that “a new life has come to Jo Bo Ah.”
She privately tied the knot with her non-celebrity husband at a hotel in Seoul on October 12, 2024. The wedding was held quietly with family and close friends present. The guest list included fellow celebrities like chef Baek Jong Won and TV host Kim Sung Joo, with whom she worked on the show Baek Jong Won’s Alley Restaurant. Her “Knock Off” co-star Kim Soo Hyun was also in attendance.
Those around her have shared that she is in her second trimester and is due to give birth in early 2026. She is currently focusing on her health, and happily receiving congratulations as she shares the news with friends and loved ones.
Her agency stated that she has been doing well throughout her pregnancy and is surrounded by warm support. Jo Bo Ah made her acting debut in 2011 in the JTBC sitcom I Live in Cheongdam-dong. She later became widely known for her roles in dramas such as Shut Up: Flower Boy Band, Destined with You, Tale of the Nine-Tailed, and Dear Hongrang.
Before confirming her pregnancy, Jo Bo Ah participated in filming for Disney+’s original series Knock Off, where she stars alongside Kim Soo Hyun. Filming is said to be over 90 percent complete, though its release remains on hold. The release of this series has been indefinitely postponed due to controversies surrounding her co-star, Kim Soo Hyun.
