Jo Kwon is leaving Cube Entertainment after 7 years of partnership.
The 2AM leader will be on the lookout for a new agency after parting ways with his longtime agency.
On June 17, Cube Entertainment officially announced his departure, stating, “After sufficient discussion with our artist Jo Kwon, our exclusive contract has ended as of June 17, 2024.”
The agency vowed to support his future endeavors, ”We would like to thank all the fans who have shown generous love and support to Jo Kwon. We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to Jo Kwon, who has been active in various fields with constant passion and overflowing energy as our artist since 2018 to the present.”
I’m Da One singer also expressed his gratitude for his ‘long and precious’ relationship with Cube Entertainment.
In 2008, Jo Kwon debuted as a leader of 2AM and released solo music over the years. He gained recognition with the release of singles and albums including I’m Da One (2012), Crosswalk (2016), Lonely (2018), and more.
Moreover, he made cameos and appeared as a supporting and main role in many dramas and variety shows.
His next move is highly anticipated, with everyone wondering which agency he’ll choose and what projects he’ll pursue.
