Joo Won and Kwon Nara teamed up as part of the photo studio crew for the new original series Midnight Photo Studio.

On February 15, Genie TV shared photos from the script reading attended by Joo Won, Kwon Nara, Yoo In-soo, and other talented actors.

Midnight Photo Studio is a comic fantasy that tells the story of a professional photographer who interacts with the deceased and a passionate lawyer who navigates between life and death alongside the studio’s guests on a cool night.

Director Song Hyun-wook and writer Kim Irang were there at the script reading site for Midnight Photo Studio. The actors who played the major roles were also attended, fully immersed in their characters.

Joo Won took on the role of Seo Ki Joo, the 7th photographer at the photo studio. He’s all about providing top-notch customer service while also dreaming of achieving that ever-elusive ‘work-life balance.’ When it comes to capturing the final photos of the guests, she’s dead serious.

Joo Won poured his heart and soul into bringing Seo Ki Joo to life, portraying the character’s sad reality of being caught between the realms of life and death due to a cursed short life.

Kwon Nara is taking on the role of Han Bom in Midnight Photo Studio. Han Bom is a lawyer who used to be a successful prosecutor but is now facing financial difficulties because she didn’t receive her commission. Kwon Nara got into character and immersed herself in the role.

She even shed tears while reading the script. Her passionate performance has perfectly synced with the character, raising everyone’s expectations for the series.

Yoo In Soo is taking on the role of Go Dae-ri in Midnight Photo Studio. Go Dae-ri is an employee at the studio, in his third year as a ghost. The studio only operates at night, and Yoo In Soo brought some life to the character with his energetic presence.

The production team couldn’t believe that it was the first time the cast worked together. They said it was so perfect, and there was non-stop laughter and tears on set.

Midnight Photo Studio is going to have its premiere on Genie TV, Genie TV Mobile, and ENA at 10 PM on March 11.
