tvN’s latest drama, Love Next Door, brings together two of Korea’s most beloved stars, Jung Hae In and Jung So Min, in a heartwarming tale of childhood friends reuniting as adults.
On July 16, The first look of Love Next Door was revealed, and it’s a treasure trove of nostalgic moments.
Jung Hae In and Jung So Min play childhood best friends in Love Next Door. The first teaser features snapshots from their early years, school days, and significant life moments.
Love Next Door follows the story of Choi Seung-Hyo (Jung Hae In) a renowned architect, who has a perfect life and career, but his past is marred by embarrassing and painful memories, all linked to Bae Seok-Ryu (Jung So Min).
Their mothers’ friendship forced them together as children, leading to awkward moments, including a humiliating bathhouse incident at age four.
Years later, they reunite, and Choi Seung-Hyo is confronted with the past he thought he’d left behind. Bae Seok-Ryu, once a high-achieving student and successful project manager, now struggles to find her footing after quitting her job.
As they reconnect, their complicated history and unresolved issues resurface, threatening to upend Choi Seung-Hyo’s carefully crafted life and force him to confront the past he’s tried so hard to forget.
Besides Jung So Min and Jung Hae In, Love Next Door features a star-studded cast including Kim Ji Eun, Yun Ji On, Park Ji Young, Jo Han Chul, and more.
Lastly, The new drama Love Next Door is set to air on tvN from August 17, taking the place of The Auditors in the Saturday and Sunday 21:20 time slot.
