Jung So Min recently opened up about her mother’s adorable reaction upon discovering that she would be starring in a romantic comedy alongside Jung Hae In.
On August 21, an interview with the Love Next Door leading cast was shared on a popular Chinese YouTube channel.
During the interview, Jung So Min was asked about his mom’s reaction to working with Kdrama heartthrob Jung Hae In for the next project.
The 35-year-old actress shared, “My mom liked it very much. One day she went to the market to buy some seaweed and she took the seaweed to the cashier, but then she saw another type of seaweed with Jung Hae In on the package. Suddenly she put the original one back and bought the one with Hae In on it.”
After proudly purchasing the Jung Hae In-approved seaweed, she took a photo and shared it with Jung So Min to show her backing for the on-screen couple. Jung So Min then forwarded the picture to Jung Hae In, who expressed his gratitude and asked her to pass along his thanks to her mom.
This is Jung Hae In’s first romantic comedy, therefore, fans are enjoying seeing the D.P. actor in a new role.
The Saturday-Sunday tvN drama Love Next Door premiered on August 17.
