So, recently right after Jungkook’s excellent performance in Good Morning America, a video of BTS heartthrobs Jimin and Jungkook was leaked in which they were seen vibing on a yacht in New York.
On most of the platforms, the video is shared without audio. At first, fans did not notice as they were busy adoring their favorite K-pop stars dancing their hearts out. When the ARMYs noticed, the ARMYs investigated the matter, and got devastated learning the truth.
The video was made and shared by the captain of the same yacht. While recording the video he was constantly mocking these two BTS members and laughing out loud with his friend. The audio is removed from the video because the fans could not stand a random yacht captain leaving disrespectful remarks.
To be honest, it was an unfortunate breach of their privacy. Jimin and Jungkook were out vacationing after a “really” long time, it should not have been done. Millions of BTS fans took action against this unfortunate event, they threatened the captain and contacted BIGHIT MUSIC. It’s still not confirmed whether the BTS agency took any action or not. However, the ARMY somehow managed to find this Yacht captain from Instagram. Besides, the Captain’s Instagram account, the Yacht company’s website is nowhere to be found either.
These BTS members have not taken any action against this unfortunate event so far. The fans are expecting Jimin and Jungkook to sue the captain as well as the company. So far, no such news has come out even though the fans are eager to know. It is possible that they have ignored it as the company would already suffer a lot for having to erase the online presence.
In all this incident, the yacht company is not at fault as the video was recorded by the captain. So, it is anticipated that the yacht company will address the situation and make sure such incidents will not happen in the future.
It’s super important to take celebrities as human beings too, and they deserve privacy and respect as we do. Therefore invading these celebrities’ privacy or mocking them is unacceptable. We should all learn to treat everyone with kindness and respect, regardless of their status, job, or background.
