Jungkook received a warm welcome in Seoul on February 12 as Hublot officially announced him as its new Global Brand Ambassador. The BTS maknae arrived at a very special location. There, Hublot transformed the space to launch him as their new global brand ambassador in Gangnam, Seoul, South Korea.
Hublot, the Swiss watchmaker known for turning bold ideas into modern classics. Jungkook began as BTS’s youngest member and grew into a trendsetter in his own right, was a natural match.
He spoke openly about his relationship with watches. For a long time, the “Seven” singer admitted he wasn’t particularly interested in them. But over time, his perspective changed.
Their connection began in 2022, when Jungkook performed “Dreamers” at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, where Hublot served as the official timekeeper. He recalled how, for a few moments on that stage, time and music felt intertwined. Collaborating with Hublot now felt like that moment coming full circle.
At the Seoul event, Jungkook wore the Big Bang Original Unico, a new model unveiled by Hublot in January 2026. The watch features a king gold case, ceramic bezel, black rubber strap, and checkerboard dial. It is bold and technical, powered by Hublot’s in-house Unico chronograph movement, which took years to develop.
Hublot’s CEO, Julien Tornare, stood nearby and spoke about why Jungkook was the right choice. While posing for the cameras, the 28-year-old idol taught him heart poses. Tornare called him one of the most influential artists of his generation.
When asked who he would like to gift a Hublot watch to first, he mentioned his family, BTS members, friends, and finally, ARMY.
Just recently, Jungkook was announced as a Chanel Beauty ambassador, and he also represents Calvin Klein. Now, he joins a select group of Hublot ambassadors, including Usain Bolt, Novak Djokovic, Kylian Mbappé, and Daniel Arsham.
Meanwhile, BTS is preparing for a reunion after two years of military service. They will hold a concert at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul on March 21 to celebrate the release of their fifth studio album, Arirang. A documentary, BTS: The Return, will follow on Netflix six days later. In April, the group will begin a global tour covering 34 cities with more than 80 dates.
