Jungkook’s Chinese Fanclub Prepares for a Grand Birthday Celebration

Jungkook birthday celebrations

Jungkook’s Chinese fanclub is going all out to celebrate the singer’s 26th birthday on September 1, marking a special year for the BTS member. Jungkook China has a history of organizing large-scale birthday events, having previously hosted elaborate celebrations in 2021 and 2022.

This year, the excitement is even higher as his solo single, Seven, recently topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart, creating the perfect reason for a double celebration.

To honor this milestone, the fanclub is setting up a massive “Hot 100 No.1 Baby” sculpture on the Seoul Eland Cruise. The event will run from August 30 to September 3 and will feature themed scenes inspired by Seven, as well as a striking purple rose waterfall cascading from a giant Seven CD.

One of the main attractions is a 1.9-meter sculpture of Jungkook wearing a crown and cape, with “Billboard Hot 100” displayed prominently. The fanclub has designed the celebration to be both vibrant and memorable to catch the attention of passersby.

In a statement, Jungkook China said, “The first single ‘Seven’ meant a lot to both us and Jungkook. So we decided to make this birthday scene themed around his Hot 100 No.1 achievement with ‘Seven.’ Despite the short preparation time, building this event step by step has been fulfilling, and we hope Jungkook will feel the happiness behind it.”

The celebration extends beyond the cruise, with birthday ads displayed across Seoul’s subway system. From August 27 to September 2, his birthday visuals will appear on the top METRO-GATE LED screens at all entrances and exits of Subway Lines 1–8, showing 120 times daily. Additionally, DID LED screens on Line 2 will feature his ads from August 21 to September 4.

On the work front, Jungkook will release another single following the smash hit, Seven, next month and a full album in November.
