K-pop icons BTS’ J-Hope, BLACKPINK’s Rosé, and BIGBANG’s G-Dragon lit up the Parisian stage at the 2025 Le Gala des Pièces Jaunes.

The Gala des Pièces Jaunes charity event took place on January 23, 2025, at the iconic Paris La Défense Arena in Paris. As Europe’s largest indoor arena, the venue was the perfect choice for the high-profile gala.

The evening’s entertainment featured a lineup of international and French artists, including Katy Perry, Rosé, John Legend, Lang Lang, Gims, Pretty Yende, J-Hope, G-Dragon, and more.

J-Hope From BTS

This was the first time ARMYs saw J-Hope perform live since his discharge from the military in October last year. The BTS rapper and dancer opened the show with electrifying performances of his hit tracks.

It is safe to say that J-Hope memorized the crowd with her performances. Fans were screaming and chanting his name as he appeared on stage.

This live performance was a preview of what’s to come as the “Arson” rapper embarks on a world tour next month.

He will kick off his world tour in Seoul with three shows from February 28 to March 2 followed by performances in Brooklyn (March 13-14), Chicago (March 17-18), Mexico City (March 22-23), San Antonio (March 26-27).

Rosé From BLACKPINK

Rosé has achieved unprecedented solo success with the release of “APT.” (with Bruno Mars) and debut album “rosie”. While her album is a commercial success, fans and critics can not help but praise her singing talent.

The BLACKPINK vocalist performed her latest hits from the album “rosie” including

Chinese pianist Lang Lang also collaborated with her for her performances of “number one girl” and “stay a little longer”.

In 2023, BLACKPINK took the stage as the main act at the charity gala, while last year, Lisa and Stray Kids captivated the audience. This year, Rosé made her return as a solo artist to Le Gala Des Pièces Jaunes 2025, and she certainly impressed.

Fans welcomed her with loud cheers and sang along to her soulful and upbeat songs. Rosé is getting her much-deserved recognition with the release of “APT.” and solo album “rosie”. She has become the first female K-pop act to break into the top 5 of Billboard HOT 100 with “APT.”

Now that she has a rich setlist, fans are demanding even more live performances, including festival gigs and a solo world tour.

However, a solo world tour seems unlikely at the moment as BLACKPINK members are expected to make a group comeback in May and go on a world tour afterward.

G-Dragon From BIGBANG

G-Dragon fans are over the moon as he is actively making public appearances, engaging in various activities, and performing at festivals.

After ending his solo hiatus, he performed at a major international event and had fellow BIGBANG member Taeyang by his side.

BIGBANG fans were delightfully surprised to see the duo perform at Le Gala Des Pièces Jaunes 2025. Their live performances proved why they are called K-pop icons.

After releasing “Power” and “Home Sweet Home”, G-Dragon is reportedly planning to release a full-length album next month and a world tour in March.

Lastly, Katy Perry closed the show with performances of her hit songs “Dark Horse”, “Teenage Dream”, “Firework”, and more.
