Kang Tae Oh is making a highly anticipated return to the world of historical dramas after a six-year break. 

Fans of the talented 30-year-old actor can look forward to seeing him in a fresh historical adaptation of the beloved 2010 drama “Secret Garden.” He previously appeared in the historical drama “The Tale of Nokdu” in 2019, portraying the role of Cha Yool Moo.

Kang Tae Oh has secured the male lead role in MBC’s upcoming drama, tentatively titled “The Moon Flows Through Lee River,” according to exclusive reports from TenAsia on October 18.

MBC’s upcoming historical drama, “The Moon Flows Through Lee River,” is slated for release in 2025. It is a historical take on the hit 2010 SBS drama “Secret Garden” starring Hyun Bin and Ha Ji Won.

Kang Tae Oh completed his mandatory military service, enlisting in September 2022 and being discharged on March 19.

Over a decade after his debut, he has impressed audiences worldwide with his roles in “Extraordinary Attorney Woo,” “Run On,” “Thirty Nine,” and more. He is set to return to the spotlight after his military discharge with tvN drama “Potato Research Institute” (Working title).
