KATSEYE made history at Lollapalooza Chicago on August 3, 2025, pulling over 85,000 fans during their afternoon set. It is the largest early-day festival audience ever on that stage. Their 40-minute performance, which ran from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, was streamed live on Weverse, with additional broadcasts on Hulu and Prime Video.
The day before, on August 2, the group was spotted at Grant Park, where they posed for photos with TWICE. Both groups were part of this year’s K-pop lineup, which also included BOYNEXTDOOR, Xdinary Heroes, KATSEYE, and wave to earth. Headliners included Sabrina Carpenter, Tyler, the Creator, Olivia Rodrigo, A$AP Rocky, Korn, and more.
Lollapalooza, running July 31 through August 3, featured headliners such as Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, A$AP Rocky, Tyler, the Creator, TWICE, Korn, and more.
KATSEYE hit the T-Mobile Stage with an opening video titled Chaos Mart, before launching into ten songs. Their setlist included “Gameboy,” “Debut,” “Tonight I Might,” “My Way,” and “Mean Girls.” The group extended “Gabriela” with a special dance break and debuted “M.I.A.” live for the first time.
“M.I.A.” quickly went viral after Lara and Manon’s bold choreography shocked and thrilled fans. Lara Manon’s steamy moment was definitely the highlight of the set, and the clips exploded on TikTok. Fans cheered as OT6 choreo returned and the members swore freely on stage.
Before performing “Touch,” Yoonchae told the crowd, “I hope you are not tired yet, Lolla. Because we have been saving our favorite song just for you, Chicago.”
As the crowd roared, Manon stepped up to thank the audience:
Standing here is so surreal, we are all so, so grateful for this. Just promise me one thing, Chicago: never forget this moment, we never will.
KATSEYE’s set pulled heavily from their Beautiful Chaos EP, released in June. Songs like “Gameboy,” “Gabriela,” “Gnarly,” and “M.I.A.” were featured alongside SIS (Soft Is Strong) tracks like “Debut,” “My Way,” and “Touch.”
The group’s stage presence, intense choreography, and high-energy performances won over not just fans but also first-time listeners. They left a deep mark on the festival and social media. Their wildest moments trended across TikTok, X, and fan forums within minutes.
Meanwhile, KATSEYE will open their first North American tour on November 15 in Minneapolis. They will tour Toronto (Nov 18), Boston (Nov 19), NYC (Nov 22), Washington (Nov 24), Atlanta (Nov 26), and more cities before wrapping it in Mexico City on December 16.
