KCON Japan 2025 and KCON LA 2025

KCON, the world’s largest K-pop festival, is gearing up for another epic year!

The dates for KCON LA 2025 and KCON Japan 2025 have finally been announced.

On January 24, CJ ENM announced, “The first KCON of this year will be held in Chiba Prefecture, Japan, from May 9 to 11. The baton will then be passed to the United States, where it will continue in LA from August 1 to 3 for three days.”

KCON Japan 2024, held last May, brought together a record-breaking 140,000 fans, with an incredible 44 teams of artists performing almost 100 times.

Similarly, KCON LA 2024 attracted 5.8 million fans from 176 countries and regions, both in-person and online. Notably, it was the first K-pop festival to be broadcast live on the CW network, a major US broadcaster, during primetime, reaching an estimated 120 million households.

KCON is a groundbreaking festival that uniquely blends a K-pop concert with a cultural convention. It offers attendees an immersive experience of Korean lifestyle and entertainment.

Since its debut in the United States in 2012, KCON has expanded globally. It has hosted events in 14 regions worldwide, including Japan, Abu Dhabi, France, Mexico, Australia, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, and more.

KCON has attracted almost 2 million fans to its offline events over the past 13 years. It has also built a massive global following online, with tens of millions of fans worldwide enjoying Korean culture and K-pop.
