Kep1er Announces Final Comeback Before Disbandment with ‘Kep1going On’

Kep1er

It is a bittersweet moment for Kep1er fans as the group has announced their final comeback before disbandment.

On May 13 at midnight, WakeOne Entertainment dropped logo motion for their first and likely final full-length album, Kep1going On.

More recently, the group released their Japanese album with a similar title Kep1going, which topped the Japanese Oricon chart.

Kep1er released their 5th EP, Magic Hour, with a title track Galileo, on September 25.

Rumors of Kep1er’s disbandment have been circulating since last year, following the failure of WakeOne Entertainment to reach an agreement with the individual agencies representing the group’s members.

The group was formed through the 2021 reality competition show Girls Planet 999. The show brought together 99 contestants from different entertainment agencies to compete for a spot in a new girl group.

After several rounds of eliminations, the top 9 contestants were selected to form Kep1er, which debuted on December 14, 2021.

After just over two years together, Kep1er is disbanding, leaving their fans heartbroken and saddened by the news.

Lastly, Kep1going is set to release on all music platforms on June 3.
