Kim Jaejoong, a veteran artist and member of the iconic group JYJ and formerly TVXQ, is taking on a new role as producer for an upcoming idol group.
On August 29, his agency iNKODE Entertainment confirmed plans to debut a new idol group in October, featuring members with exceptional skills, talent, flair, and visual appeal.
Kim Jaejoong, serving as iNKODE’s Chief Strategy Officer, took the helm in producing the new idol group, overseeing every aspect of their development. He personally guided the members through their training and debut preparations.
The 38-year-old singer debuted as a member of the TVXQ and later formed JYJ in 2009 with three TVXQ members after a conflict with SM Entertainment.
He recently celebrated his 20th debut anniversary with the release of a studio album, Flower Garden, which dropped on June 26.
Fans are excited to see how Kim Jaejoong’s 20 years of experience will help the new idol group.
iNKODE, a global entertainment agency co-founded by Noh Hyun-tae, former Vice President of Cube Entertainment, and Kim Jaejoong in May last year. They recently expanded its reach by launching iNKODE JAPAN.
On the work front, he is currently leading the rom-com drama Bad Memory Eraser, airing every Friday and Saturday on MBN.
