BLACKPINK’s Lisa recently teamed up with Kim Kardashian for the NikeSKIMS Spring ’26 Collection. The campaign, launched in January, was personally led by Kim, who is co-founder and chief creative officer of SKIMS.
She recently promoted the Nike x Skims collection at the pop-up in London’s Selfridges. During the interview, the reality TV star called herself the ‘biggest K-pop girlie’ who loves Lisa. Recently, her daughter North West also dished on the current NewJeans situation, saying, “We gotta save NewJeans.”
There, Kim Kardashian called Lisa her “dream person” for the project. She praised her as “an amazing dancer” who is “so beautiful” and “so talented.” The shoot took place in a Parisian studio, where the BLACKPINK member is seen dancing.
Lisa, also known as Lalisa Manoban, was chosen because of her multifaceted talent. She is not only a singer and rapper, but also a dancer, actress, and style icon.
The ‘All’s Fair’ actress said, “I wanted to see Lisa dance,” adding, “I wanted to see her move in our product.” She further praised the global pop star, saying, “In the clothes, and it felt very feminine… ballet-inspired, and I just felt like she was the perfect choice, and she was really into it.”
Kim Kardashian said that she wanted someone ‘passionate’ for this ‘beautiful campaign.’
Lisa said the collection feels comfortable and light, letting her move freely “from rehearsals to traveling or even relaxing at home.”
The NikeSKIMS collaboration combines SKIMS’ expertise in fit and sculpting with Nike’s performance technology. Kim described the line as a “head-to-toe system of dress” inspired by ballerinas. It focused on “grace in motion and strength in form,” making it easy for women to move with confidence.
The campaign film was directed by Sergio Reis and filmed in Paris. Lisa performs ballet-inspired choreography, moving from barre exercises to expressive dance. She changes outfits from all black to full pink to show the collection’s color palette. The video shows how the clothes let her move easily while looking stylish.
The Spring ’26 Collection, which launches on February 5, 2026, is inspired by ballerinas but has a modern twist. It includes five types of material: Matte with compression and Dri-FIT, Stretch Knit for softness and lightness, Ribbed Seamless with a vintage wash, Weightless Layers that are semi-sheer, and Woven Nylon for relaxed layers.
The shoes, NikeSKIMS Rift Satin, are a satin version of the split-toe sneaker and come in Silt Red and Black. The campaign highlights body-contouring clothes such as crop tops, micro shorts, tie-up tops, and mini skirts, often paired with the Rift shoes. The collection is available on Nike.com, SKIMS.com, and selected stores across North America, Europe, and the Middle East. It will expand to Australia on February 6 and to Korea later this month.
On the work front, Lisa’s group, BLACKPINK, prepares to release the album, Deadline, after three and a half years. In addition, she is working on a Netflix ‘Extraction’ spin-off movie, TYGO, with Don Lee and Lee Jin Uk.
