In their new drama, Queen of Tears, these two incredible actors have already spent three blissful years as husband and wife, and now they’re ready to embark on a thrilling new chapter that promises to keep us all captivated.
Just recently, tvN dropped a teaser video for their new Saturday-Sunday drama called Queen of Tears. It’s written by Park Ji-eun and directed by Jang Young-woo and Kim Hee-won.
From the looks of it, the dynamic between the couple Baek Hyun-woo (played by Kim Soo Hyun) and Hong Hae-in (played by Kim Ji Won) seems to promise a mix of sweetness and intense drama.
Haein and Hyun Woo are no ordinary couple. In the teaser video, Baek Hyun-woo seems to be quite intrigued and puzzled by the excitement he feels whenever he sees Hong Hae-in. His heart starts racing just by catching a glimpse of his beautiful wife from a distance.
On the other hand, Hong Hae-in seems to exude a cool and charismatic aura. She’s portrayed as a fiercely independent individual who has never once bowed down to anyone in his entire life. It seems like he’s not afraid to speak his mind and even resort to harsh words and intense gestures when dealing with others.
There’s a complex mix of emotions between Baek Hyun-woo and Hong Hae-in. Baek Hyun-woo describes the reason his heart races when he’s with Hong Hae-in as “fear,” but at the same time, there’s also an undeniable sense of excitement and anticipation for his wife.
Queen of Tears is set to premiere on March 9th at 9:20 PM on Netflix and tvN.
