Shocking allegations have surfaced surrounding Kim Sae Ron’s alleged relationship with Kdrama actor and former labelmate Kim Soo Hyun nearly a month after her death.
The 24-year-old actress tragically died by suicide on February 16, which also happens to be Kim Soo Hyun’s birthday. Police confirmed that there was no evidence of foul play, trespassing, or any other factors that suggest otherwise.
Notably, this is not the first time Kim Sae Ron has been romantically linked to the Kdrama actor. During the airing of his tvN drama “Queen of Tears”, she shared an intimate picture with Kim Soo Hyun. While the 36-year-old actor denied dating rumors, she remained silent after days of speculation.
On March 10, a YouTube video posted by “Garo-sero Research Institute” made a shocking claim. The channel alleged that Kim Sae Ron was in a romantic relationship with Kim Soo Hyun for six years. Their relationship began when she was just 15 years old.
According to the video, this information was confirmed by her parents. Additionally, her aunt appeared in the video and shared her thoughts without concealing her identity. The YouTube channel released a detailed statement, claiming they had obtained a text message she had intended to post on social media. According to the statement, Kim Sae Ron revealed that her relationship with Kim Soo Hyun began on November 19, 2015, and ended on July 7, 2021.
Additionally, they revealed a writing from Kim Sae Ron, which they obtained from her family members. The writing is said to have been created on March 24, 2024. The writing contains phrases such as “(The rumors of romance with Kim Soo Hyun) were reported as baseless, but I clearly state that this is not the truth.”
In response to this, Gold Medalist issued an official statement, stating that “The claims made by Garo-sero regarding actor Kim Soo Hyun on their YouTube broadcast are clearly false.” They also announced their intention to take legal action. After backlash from the fans of the “Queen of Tears” actor, the video has been taken down.
Last year, The “Bloodhounds” actress faced rumors of a secret romance with the “Queen of Tears” actor after she posted a photo of them on social media. The post was quickly deleted.
At the time, Kim Soo Hyun’s team denied the rumors, saying they were completely baseless.
She had been involved in a drunk driving incident in May 2022, which led to a period of reflection. The accident caused a power outage in parts of Seoul, resulting in significant damages. Her agency at the time, Gold Medalist reportedly paid around 700 million won as compensation.
Meanwhile, Kim Sae Ron was found dead at her home in Seoul on February 16.
