Set in the 1950s, amidst the aftermath of the Korean War, Jeong Nyeon: The Star is Born tells the captivating story of Yoon Jeong Nyeon, a gifted vocalist determined to become the nation’s top opera star.
Kim Tae Ri shines as Jeong Nyeon, a small-town girl from Mokpo who dares to dream big in Seoul. Her piercing gaze on the poster hints at her exceptional talent.
Shin Ye Eun plays Heo Yeong Seo, a talented performer who excels in singing, dancing, and acting. With her impeccable family background, Yeong-seo is widely admired and recognized.
Ra Mi Ran takes on the role of Kang So Bok, the fearless leader of the Maeran National Theater Troupe.
Jung Eun Chae and Kim Yun Hye complete the troupe as Moon Ok Kyung and Seo Hye Rang, respectively.
