Kim Woo Seok, UP10TION member and formerly of X1, has unveiled his military enlistment plans.
Born on October 27, 1996, the 27-year-old actor and singer is set to enlist in the military in November.
On September 27, his agency Blitzway Studio shared the news, stating, “Kim Woo Seok applied to the Army Military Band and received a notice of acceptance from the Military Manpower Administration on September 25. He is scheduled to enlist at the Army Training Center on November 4.”
He also promised fans to complete his mandatory military service healthily and greet them with a more mature appearance.
Kim Woo Seok debuted as a member of the K-pop boy group UP10TION in 2015 under TOP Media. He later became a member of the project group X1, formed through the Mnet reality competition show “Produce X 101” in 2019, which disbanded in January 2020.
He began his acting career in 2020 with a role in the web drama “TWENTY-TWENTY.” He then appeared in the tvN drama Bulgasal: Immortal Souls and Night Has Come.
Kim Woo Seok is set to return to the small screen in November with the highly anticipated drama Zero Period is Social Butterflies’ Time. In this exciting new project, Woo-seok will take on the role of Kang Woo-bin, a charismatic and popular superstar.
Before beginning his mandatory military service, he will meet with fans one last time at his domestic fan meeting on October 26.
