Agencies have firmly denied dating rumors between actors Kim Young Dae (30) and Lee Na Eun (27). Rumors were filed after the pair was spotted together in Seoul just weeks before Kim’s scheduled military enlistment.
On March 26, Lee Na Eun’s agency, Namoo Actors, stated, “The two are close friends,” and Kim Young Dae’s agency, Outer Universe, dismissed the rumors as “groundless.”
The buzz began when Star Today reported that the actors were spotted at a drugstore in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, on the afternoon of March 25. Eyewitnesses said they were browsing daily items, like toothbrushes, dressed casually in running clothes and caps.
Notably, they were reportedly not wearing masks to hide their identities. The location added fuel to the rumors, as Kim Young Dae resides in Gwangjin Gu, while Lee Na Eun lives in nearby Guri. The area was a convenient meeting spot for exercise or daily activities.
Both agencies highlighted that the two have a long history together. They first worked as an on-screen couple in the 2019 MBC drama Extraordinary You. The drama also starred Lee Jae Wook, Rowoon, and Kim Hye Yoon.
Kim’s agency explained that their friendship goes back to their rookie years and that they often meet with co-stars like Jung Gun Joo.
On another note, Kim Young Dae, who is preparing for mandatory military service. He had originally planned to enlist in March but had to delay the process. His agency said the enlistment notice is expected in April, and he is likely to finish his service around October 2027. Afterward, he plans to return to acting with carefully chosen roles.
