Lee Chae Min Steps Down as Music Bank MC

The 23-year-old actor has been serving as an MC alongside LE SSERAFIM’s Hong Eunchae for over 1.5 years. Sadly, his journey as an MC of Music Bank is coming to an end.

As reported by The Fact on April 30, Lee Chae Min will be stepping down from his role as MC of KBS2’s music program Music Bank. Serving as the 38th president of Music Bank since September 2022, he will conclude his tenure as MC after approximately 1 year and 7 months during the broadcast on May 3.

He has worked with Eunchae and IVE’s Jang Wonyoung as MC. As per reports, he is stepping down to focus on his acting career. The See You in My 19th Life actor is confirmed to star in the upcoming Netflix original series, Hi Rocky.

Lee Chae Min, who made her debut with tvN’s High Class in 2021, has been steadily expanding her acting portfolio by appearing in dramas like Crash Course in Romance.

Moon Sang Min in Talks to Replace Lee Chae Min

Actor Moon Song Min, known for his role in Duty After School and Under the Queen’s Umbrella, is in talks to be the new host alongside Eunchae.

An official from KBS shared that they’re in talks with Sang Min’s agency regarding his role as the new Music Bank MC. He shared that special MCs will step in until the MC is confirmed.

Lastly, Lee Chae Min’s last broadcast as an MC will air on May 3.
