Hyeri and Lee Jin Wook are in talks for a new legal drama!
On November 18, Daily Sports exclusively reported that Lee Jin Wook and Hyeri are cast in the new legal drama “Esquire” (literal title).
JTBC’s upcoming drama “Esquire” explores high-stakes lawsuits between lawyers within a prominent law firm. It delves into law firm politics and courtroom battles.
Helmed by Director Kim Jae Hong (“Flex x Cop”) and produced by BA Entertainment. The legal drama is scheduled to air on JTBC.
Lee Jin Wook, fresh from his success in “Dear Hyeri,” is set to appear in Netflix’s “Squid Game 2” next month. He is generating anticipation for his new role on JTBC’s “Esquire” as a lawyer.
Lee has showcased his acting chops in “Sweet Home,” “Miss Granny,” “Tiger in Winter,” and more. His upcoming movie “The Priests 2: Dark Nuns” with Jeon Yeo Been and Song Hye Kyo is scheduled to hit theaters on January 24, 2025.
Hyeri debuted as a Girl’s Day member in 2010 and has also established herself as a versatile actress. She is set to play her first lawyer role in “Esquire,” adding to her impressive filmography, which includes “Reply 1988,” “Moonshine,” “Miss Lee,” and “My Roommate is a Gumiho.”
Hyeri recently starred in the movie “Victory” on August 14 and is currently occupied with the filming of “Friendly Rivalry.”
