The dynamic duo that brought viewers ‘W’ is reuniting!

The 34-year-old K-pop star is reportedly teaming up with the director behind the hit drama W.

As reported by TV Daily on September 13, Lee Jong Suk is set to star in director Park Seung Woo’s upcoming drama, Seocho Dong (working title).

Lee Jong Suk is set to take on the role of Ahn Joo-hyung, a sharp and principled 9-year veteran lawyer at Kyungmin Law Firm. Ahn boasts dashing good looks and impressive credentials, but his blunt honesty often speaks louder than his charm.

Filming is slated to begin by year’s end, with a premiere scheduled for next year.

After multiple meetings with the director, the Big Mouth actor has chosen his next project. This will be his first project since joining new agency Ace Factory in January.

If rumors are true, Lee Jong Suk and director Park Seung Woo are reuniting after 8 years for Seocho Dong, their first collaboration since the 2016 hit drama W: Two Worlds

He was previously paired with Han Hyo Joo in the hit drama W: Two Worlds which was loved for its unique concept of a virtual world within a webtoon. The show received widespread acclaim, debuting with an 8.6% viewership rating (according to Nielsen Korea) and peaking at 13.8%.

Lee Jong Suk has worked in many notable dramas including Romance is a Bonus Book, While You Were Sleeping, Pinocchio, Doctor Stranger, School 2013, and more.
