Kang Hee (played by Lee Se Young) spent her childhood at Motel California, where her family’s business was in a rural village. However, her mixed-race heritage made her a target for gossip and whispers among the locals.
“Motel California” is a heartwarming story of first love and second chances. The story follows a young woman who returns to her hometown after 12 years, only to reunite with the one who stole her heart – her first love.
As a young woman, Kang found comfort in her childhood friend and first love, Chun Yeon Soo (Na In-Woo). At 20, she left her hometown for Seoul to make a fresh start.
