Lee Soo Hyuk is set to make a stylish appearance at the prestigious Cannes Series!

The talented South Korean heartthrob has been officially invited to the 8th Cannes International Series Festival, representing his upcoming drama “S Line”.

On April 2, YG Entertainment confirmed that Lee Soo Hyuk will walk the pink carpet for his upcoming webtoon-based drama “S Line”, scheduled to premiere this year. The 6-episode drama also stars Lee Da Hee, Arin, Lee Kwang Hee, Lee Han Ju, and more.

The 36-year-old Kdrama actor shared his thoughts, saying, ‘I think this is a moment I’ve dreamed of for a long time. It’s an honor and a joy to be attending the Cannes International Series Festival.’

2025 Canneseries is an international TV festival in Cannes, France, celebrating the world’s best fiction TV series through screenings, competitions, and industry events.

‘S-Line’ is a drama based on a hit webtoon, where a strange red line – the S-Line – mysteriously appears above people’s heads, connecting those who have been intimate with each other, regardless of time or place.

Notably, ‘S-Line’ is the only Korean content selected to compete in the feature-length section this year. His appearance at the Canneseries 2025 coincides with the release of his new film ‘Blue’, which hits theaters on April 9.

Lee Soo Hyuk made his acting debut in 2006 and has since appeared in many memorable leading and supporting roles. His notable acting credits include “Queen Woo”, “Tomorrow”, “Born Again”, “Sweet Stranger and Me”, and more.

He has multiple exciting projects in the pipeline including his cameo in BLACKPINK Jisoo’s romantic comedy “Boyfriend on Demand”. Lee will also appear in the movie “Blue” and the drama “S Line”.

Meanwhile, the drama ‘S Line’ is slated to make its global debut at the Canneseries in Cannes, France on April 29. It will run for top honors alongside other international feature-length series in the competition category at the closing ceremony.
