In Your Radient Season, after multiple delays and casting changes, is finally coming to TV screens. Starring Lee Sung Kyung and Chae Jong Hyeop, it tells a moving story of two people whose lives are forever changed by a fateful encounter. 

On January 20, MBC and Disney released the first teaser trailer for In Your Radient Season ahead of its premiere next month. The 2026 Kdrama slate looks promising as Netflix also released a massive K-content lineup today.

In Your Radient Season Release Date

In Your Radient Season, starring Chae Jong Hyeop and Lee Sung Kyung, is scheduled to premiere on February 20, 2026. The 12-episode drama will air on MBC every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 PM KST and conclude on March 28.

International streaming for this melodrama will be available on Disney+. Produced by Pan Entertainment, the series received a major ₩15.2 billion investment from MBC.

Plot Overview

The story centers on Sunwoo Chan (Chae Jong Hyeop), a cheerful character designer who loses both his hearing and memory after a mysterious accident. Seven years later, he crosses paths with Song Ha Ran (Lee Sung Kyung), a talented head designer at Korea’s top fashion house, Nana Atelier. Song has shut herself off from the world due to grief and fear of losing someone precious.

Their meeting reopens old wounds and forces them to confront hidden truths. Chan struggles to recover memories from the accident, and Ha Ran must face the grief she has kept buried.

The first teaser was released during the 2025 MBC Drama Awards. It opens with Chan struggling to piece together his fragmented memories from the accident, saying, “Didn’t something happen to me?”

Ha Ran appears during these fragmented memories, and her heartfelt words, “Chan, I love you.” Chan narrates, “Seven years ago, in the midst of my coldest winter, she came into my life like a warm spring breeze.

Production Team

The film is co-directed by Jung Sang Hee and Kim Young Jae, with an original script written by Jo Sung Hee (Still 17, She Was Pretty). Filming began in October last year and is still underway. Initially, the female lead role was offered to Han Hyo Joo in 2023 before Lee Sung Kyung was confirmed. The role of Sunwoo Chan was also first offered to Seo In Guk, with Chae Jong Hyeop ultimately cast in the part.
