Lee Sung Min is considering a new project, as he has received an offer to star in the upcoming drama ‘Get Schooled’, based on a popular webtoon.

The veteran actor is known for his memorable acting performances in “Reborn Rich”, “12:12: The Day”, “The Tyrant”, “Shadow Detective”, “Juvenile Justice”, and more.

On January 31, a representative from his agency, HOD&U Entertainment, officially stated to OSEN, ‘It is true that Lee Sung Min received an offer to appear in ‘Get Schooled’. We are currently reviewing it positively.’

“Get Schooled”, a drama series adapted from the webtoon, tells the story of a fictional government agency dedicated to protecting educational rights. The show aims to highlight the importance of restoring fairness and equality in education.

The original webtoon faced backlash for its racist and misogynistic content. In response, director Hong Jong Chan promised to create a more thoughtful and responsible adaptation that addresses the issues of the original work.

Previously, “The Fiery Priest” actor Kim Nam Gil was offered to lead the drama, however, he turned down the offer due to controversies surrounding the webtoon.

Notably, actors Kim Mu Yeol and P.O (Pyo Jihoon) of Block B have confirmed their roles in the upcoming drama.

With Lee Sung Min’s potential involvement, expectations are high for what kind of project “Get Schooled” will become. The drama is currently in talks for global OTT distribution.
