“Love Next Door” Starring Jung Hae In and Jung So Min Premieres with a 4.9% Average Nationwide Rating

Love Next Door premiered on tvN on August 17, introducing the complicated relationship between leads Choi Seung Hyo (Jung Hae In) and Bae Seok Ryu (Jung So Min). 

The first episode highlighted their dark history and Bae Seok Ryu’s dramatic return to Hyeolleung-dong, which sparked a lively and chaotic chain of events.

Love Next Door premiered to impressive ratings, grabbing viewers’ attention from the get-go. The show achieved an average rating of 5.9% and a peak of 8.9% in the metropolitan area, and an average of 4.9% and a peak of 7.5% nationwide. 

This placed the drama first in its time slot, outperforming all other programs on cable and comprehensive programming.

Among tvN’s target audience of men and women in their 20s and 40s, the show recorded an average rating of 2.5% and a high of 3.7% in the metropolitan area, and an average of 2.6% and a high of 3.8% nationwide. This earned the show first place in its time slot among this demographic.

The Love Next Door Episode 2 will premiere on tvN and Netflix today (August 18).
