South Korean actor Song Geon Hee was all set to make his debut on the baseball field, but the weather had other plans.

The Lovely Runner star was scheduled to throw the opening pitch at a recent game, but the event was canceled due to rain.

On June 22, he took to Instagram to share the news, saying, “Please call me next time, cancellation due to rain.”

Song Geon Hee was initially slated to throw the ceremonial first pitch at the Daegu Lions Park game between the Samsung Lions and Doosan Bears, but the match was ultimately called off due to inclement weather. As a result, his pitch was automatically canceled.

The 26-year-old actor’s loyalty to the Samsung Lions runs deep, with his unwavering dedication as a long-time fan. He has gone as far as declaring that he will only throw the first pitch if it’s in support of the Samsung Lions.

On the work front, Song Geon Hee garnered praise for his portrayal of Kim Tae-sung, an internet geek, in the tvN series Lovely Runner.
