Shin Ye Chan from Lucy

Shin Ye Chan from LUCY had the opportunity to contribute to IU’s long-awaited comeback album. Many notable artists participated in the making of the album including BTS’ V, Hyein from NewJeans, DPR IAN, Tang Wei, and more.

Shin Ye Chan from LUCY got to be a part of the violin session for IU’s song I stan U from her 6th mini album The Winning, which dropped on February 20. It’s exciting to see talented artists collaborating and contributing to each other’s work.

IU wrote I stan U herself, and Shin Ye Chan’s amazing violin playing adds to the already sensual lyrics, making the song even more immersive.

Shin Ye Chan has always expressed his admiration for IU as an artist he’d love to collaborate with. Through his agency Mystic Story, he dished on the collaboration saying, “I am very honored to be able to contribute even a little to the work of senior IU, whom I always respect.” Ye Chan further said, “I worked hard to not be a blemish on my senior, so I hope many people will listen and enjoy it.”

Shin Ye Chan, the leader and violinist of LUCY, brings a unique touch to the group with his distinct sound. His violin playing stands out and is considered one of Lucy’s signature elements.

IU’s comeback album, The Winning, dropped on February 20, is sweeping the domestic charts. She recently shared the process of working on her album and spilled many behind-the-scenes stories.
