LUN8 is gearing up for a major change!

The K-pop boy band is set to welcome its newest member, Yuma, in April. With this addition, LUN8 will officially become an 8-member group and start a new chapter in their musical journey.

On February 7, Fantagio announced, “Yuma will be joining LUN8 as a new member” and added, “Yuma is scheduled to start activities with the group from their upcoming European tour in April.”

Born in 1999, he gained recognition through MBC’s audition program “FANTASY BOYS”. Although he showed promising talent, he was unfortunately eliminated in the final episode, which aired on June 8, 2023.

An official from the agency expresses hopes for fans to continue supporting and showing interest in his future endeavors.

His official profile picture has been unveiled on the group’s official social media. Dressed in a sleek black outfit, the 25-year-old K-pop idol exudes a soft yet undeniable charisma.

LUN8 debuted with 8 members in June 2023 under Fantagio with the EP “Continue?”. The group’s name, LUN8, symbolizes “eight boys who shine under the moonlight”.

On January 21, Fantagio revealed that members Do Hyun and Ji Eun Ho will be temporarily stepping back to prioritize their health. Eun Seop, who has been on hiatus since October 2024, will be permanently leaving the group.

Meanwhile, the 8-member K-pop group LUN8 is set to drop their new single album “Butterfly” on February 19 at 6 PM KST.
