MADEIN’s Gaeun Takes Temporary Hiatus, Group to Continue as 6 Members

Gaeun From MADEIN

K-pop group MADEIN has announced a temporary adjustment to their lineup. Member Gaeun will be taking a break from activities, and the group will continue as a 6-member unit for the time being.

On November 11, 143 Entertainment released an official statement to inform fans of her upcoming activity schedule.

In an official statement, the agency stated, “Gaeun recently visited the hospital for health reasons, and following the medical team’s advice that she needs sufficient rest and stability, she has decided to temporarily suspend activities and focus on recovering her health.

Accordingly, MADEIN will continue its activities as a six-member group for the time being: Mashiro, Yeseo, MiU, Suhye, Serina, and Nagomi.

We apologize to all the fans for worrying you with this sudden news, and we ask for your warm support so that Gaeun can meet you again in good health as soon as possible.”

More recently, Gaeun deleted all posts from Instagram, removed “MADEIN” from her bio, and unfollowed 143 Entertainment’s CEO on social media.

This raised concerns among fans about her future with the group and suggested there might be some internal conflict.

Before joining MADEIN, Gaeun was a member of LIMELIGHT. The group rebranded and expanded with four new members, debuting as MADEIN on September 3.
