On April 21, Sports Chosun exclusively reported that Min will exchange vows with her businessman fiancé on June 7 at a private venue in Seoul. Close family and friends will attend the private wedding ceremony.
Sources indicate that the 33-year-old singer and her partner, a businessman outside the entertainment industry, have been in a relationship since 2018. After maintaining a low-profile romance for seven years, the couple has decided to marry.
The report states that the wedding will be a small, private event reflecting the couple’s preference for keeping matters out of the public eye. No further details about the ceremony or the couple’s future plans have been disclosed.
As of now, her agency has not released an official statement regarding the marriage report. If reports are true, she will be the first Miss A member to get married.
Min debuted as a member of the girl group Miss A under JYP Entertainment in 2010. Following the group’s disbandment in 2017, she has been active as an actress. She rose to fame with her solo hits like “Go Ahead”, “Boyfriend”, “Dance Like This”, and more.
In June 2024, Min released her first-ever solo EP “Prime Time”, containing four songs and a feature from rapper Lil Cherry. She also played the role of a K-pop idol, Riya, in her Broadway debut with the K-pop inspired musical, “KPOP”.
