Road to Kingdom Season 2

Mnet’s Road to Kingdom renewed for a second season after four years, therefore, it is only natural for fans to be excited.

In the latest development, Mnet revealed plans on June 26 to broadcast the newly renewed Road to Kingdom 2 in the second half of 2025.

In the second season, THE NEW SIX, CRAVITY, ATBO, xikers, 8TURN, and YOUNITE are rumored to compete.

This reality survival show aired from April 30 to June 18, 2020, with seven groups competing including PENTAGON, THE BOYZ, ONF, Verivery, TOO, ONEUS, and Golden Child. THE BOYZ emerged as winners in the first season of the show.

Road to Kingdom Season 2 is getting a reboot, transforming from a qualifying show for Kingdom to a standalone program for boy groups, focusing on their growth.

The new season, debuting four years after the original, will feature a fresh format. The winners will no longer automatically qualify for Kingdom, making way for new rewards and an exciting new chapter for the show.

As per the previous format, Road to Kingdom provides a platform for lesser-known groups to show their talents. The winning group earns a coveted spot in the prequel Kingdom, where they compete against established and prominent K-pop groups.

The exact premiere date and confirmed lineup for the show are set to be announced in the coming days.
