Popular girl group MOMOLAND is set to make a full comeback on September 8, marking their return nearly two years after disbanding.
On August 13, My Daily exclusively reported that the group is preparing new music, which was soon confirmed by their agency. Fans are excited to see the girl group resume activities and return together after a long break.
MOMOLAND debuted in 2016 and quickly rose to fame with catchy hits like “Bboom Bboom,” “BAAM,” “Oh My Gosh,” and “I’m So Hot.” Their signature track “Bboom Bboom” remains a fan favorite, with its music video surpassing 660 million views on YouTube.
Despite being under a smaller agency, the group established a unique identity and achieved significant success in both Korea and international markets.
After their exclusive contract with MLD Entertainment expired in early 2023, MOMOLAND effectively disbanded, and members focused on individual pursuits.
However, in May 2025, six members, Hyebin, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin, and Nancy, signed exclusive contracts with Inyeon Entertainment. This signaled the start of full group activities once again.
Back then, members shared their excitement, saying,
We are truly happy and excited to be able to greet Merry (our fandom) as a complete group again. We will work hard to repay you with better music and performances.
Earlier this year, MOMOLAND released a remix album called FESTIVALAND, which featured new versions of their popular songs, including “Bboom Bboom,” “BAAM,” and “Oh My Gosh.” This album helped build momentum for their upcoming new release.
The September comeback will be MOMOLAND’s first new song in nearly four years, following their 2022 collaboration with South American singer Natty Natasha on “Yummy Yummy Love.” The group plans to promote their new music both domestically and internationally to reconnect with fans worldwide and continue their successful career.
Fans are eagerly awaiting MOMOLAND’s return and are excited to see how the group will evolve and grow after this long break.
