Moon Ga Young donating to Ewha Medical Center

Moon Ga Young is giving back to the community with a generous donation!

On August 26, her agency Peak J Entertainment announced that Moon Ga Young had made a significant donation to Ewha Medical Center.

The donation, totaling 100 million won, is a portion of the proceeds from her debut essay collection, PATA, published in March.

The essay collection PATA became a bestseller after its release in March, offering a personal look at her thoughts and feelings.

Ewha Medical Center, where the True Beauty actress donated, is Korea’s first women’s hospital (est. 1887) and a leading institution for women’s healthcare and research.

Moon Ga Young was moved by the historical significance of Ewha Medical Center, which traces its roots back to Bogu Women’s Hospital. She chose to donate funds with the hope that the institution will continue to evolve with a strong sense of purpose for the modern era.

In response, Ewha Medical Center expressed their gratitude and promised to continue to provide excellent patient care.

On the work front, she is set to star in a new romance drama Black Salt Dragon (aka He’s a Black Dragon) opposite Choi Hyun Wook
