Nam Joo Hyuk has officially completed his mandatory military service today and returned to civilian life.
After 18 months of dedicated service, the Vigilante actor was discharged from the military on September 19.
Nam Joo Hyuk, who enlisted at the Army Training Center on March 2 last year, completed his basic military training and subsequently served in the 32nd Infantry Division’s Military Police Battalion, Mobile Brigade.
During his tenure, he was responsible for maintaining unit security and investigating incidents.
During his military enlistment, his Disney+ Original Series Vigilante premiered in November 2023. Ahead of his military discharge, there were reports of him considering his next project.
Once the casting is finalized, he is scheduled to begin filming for the new drama.
In June, Management Soop revealed that Nam Joo Hyuk was reviewing an offer to star in “Donggung,” a captivating drama that delves into the world of ghost hunting. With Roh Yoon Seo and Cho Seung Woo potentially on board, fans are eagerly anticipating the chemistry between the leads.
That’s not all, the production team of Vigilante is reportedly gearing up for season 2 with the original cast, Nam Joo Hyuk, Yoo Ji Tae, and Kim So Jin.
An official from the production company, Studio N, stated that Vigilante Season 2 is still in the planning stages with new characters and programming details being finalized.
Nam Joo Hyuk will begin filming for his next project soon and likely meet viewers in 2025.
