Namgoong Min’s love story began when he met his wife Jin Ah Reum on a self-produced project after a movie in China was delayed.
He fell for her quickly, but his lack of dating experience led to repeated rejections. Just when he was about to leave for China, she finally reached out with a long message.
When he returned, they met for a beer and she jokingly suggested they start dating. After 8-9 years of dating, they finally tied the knot in a private ceremony on October 7, 2022.
Furthermore, Namgoong Min looked back on his sheltered upbringing and little experience in romantic relationships due to attending an all-boys school. He admitted that this made his early interactions with Jin Ah Reum somewhat awkward.
On the work front, he won the Best Actor Award at the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards in May. He is set to star in a new drama Our Film opposite Jeon Yeo Been.
