Namkoong Min and Jeon Yeo Been are bringing a tear-jerking melodrama, Our Movie, in less than two weeks. After months of waiting and anticipation, fans and viewers have been fed with enough promotional content and teaser trailers.

The teasers promise a moving journey as two wounded souls – one with a limited time, the other haunted by the past – find healing through their unexpected connection. Given how talented Jeon Yeo Been and Namkoong Min are, audiences will likely resonate with their pain and struggles.

Plot

The drama follows Lee Je Ha (Namkoong Min), a once-celebrated film director struggling with a five-year creative slump. While researching his next project—a romance about someone with limited time—he meets Lee Da Eum (Jeon Yeo Been), a terminally ill yet spirited aspiring actress. Their professional relationship blossoms into a poignant romance as they collaborate on the film and heal each other’s deepest wounds.

While the official trailer has yet to be released, the teaser trailer released by Disney+ perfectly depicts the contrasting personalities of the lead characters. Jeon Yeo Been believes in everlasting love, whereas Namkoong Min does not share the same emotion. He is seen saying, “Even love that feels eternal eventually fades away.”

A once-acclaimed film director who debuted with a masterpiece but has been creatively blocked for 5 years. He fears a “sophomore jinx”. His new project explores terminal illness, leading him to cast Da-eum. Her real-life struggles mirror the film’s theme and Je Ha describes her as having “something we don’t have”.

Namkoong Min is an award-winning, versatile actor known for his standout roles in My Dearest, One Dollar Lawyer, The Girl Who Sees Scent, and more.

Jeon Yeo Been as Lee Da Eum

A terminally ill aspiring actress with no prior credits, cast in her first lead role. Despite her condition, she radiates joy, even Jeon Yeo Been called Lee Da Eum a “Sunshine” in one of her interviews.

She aims to leave behind memories for loved ones through acting, immersing herself in the fictional film White Love

Jeon Yeo Been, who recently starred in the movie Dark Nuns, has built a solid filmography with her roles in Vincenzo, Harbin, and A Time Called You. Next, she will portray the role of a female bodyguard in the drama Ms. Incognito.
