Nana Reportedly Parts Ways with PLEDIS Entertainment After 15 Years

Nana

Nana has reportedly bid farewell to PLEDIS Entertainment, her home of 15 years.

The 32-year-old singer, songwriter, and actress has been pursuing her activities under the label for over a decade.

As reported by News 1 on August 30, Nana is in talks to sign an exclusive contract with Sublime Artist Agency, home to popular artists like Song Kang Ho, Lee Hyeri, and Seo Ye Ji.

Her departure is notable, given her history of loyalty to PLEDIS, where she had renewed her contract four times previously.

She debuted in 2009 as a member of After School and pursued a diverse music career with its subgroups Orange Caramel and After School Red.

In addition to her music career, Nana has also made a name for herself as an actress. Following her acting debut in the 2016 drama The Good Wife, she has established herself as a leading lady in various dramas, including Kill It, My Man is Cupide, Glitch, and Mask Girl. Her film credits include The Swindlers and Confession.

She is in negotiations to join Sublime, a full-service management company that covers entertainment, advertising, and modeling. This would be her first agency switch since debuting.

On the work front, she is set to appear in the movies Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint and Humint, scheduled to release next year.
