NCT 127 is jumping into the summer comeback battle after about 7 years, so the anticipation is sky-high.
They have confirmed their highly-anticipated comeback, set to take place in mid-July as previously speculated. The group will officially return to the music scene, delighting fans with new music and performances.
On June 24 at midnight (KST), SM Entertainment dropped the 1st teaser for their 6th full-length album, WALK, on all of NCT’s social media platforms.
This is the group’s third summer comeback after their debut in 2016; NCT #127 in July 2016, CHERRY BOMB in June 2017, and now WALK in July 2024.
Also, fans are curious to learn whether or not Taeyong and Taeil will be part of the group’s summer comeback.
The NCT 127 leader, Taeyong, paused activities after beginning mandatory military service in April. On the other hand, Taeil took a break in August 2023 after an accident. He also underwent surgery in October 2023.
As previously announced by SM Entertainment, he will only take part in activities once he is fully recovered.
Lastly, NCT 127’s WALK is set to release on July 15 at 6 PM KST. Following the album release, they will hold an 8ECRET INVITATION Fanmeeting on August 3-4 to celebrate the 8th debut anniversary.
