NCT’s Doyoung Set to Make Solo Debut in April After Nearly 8 Years Since Joining the Group

Doyoung from NCT is gearing up to go solo!

On March 11, Korean media outlets reported that he’ll be releasing a solo album in April and starting to appear on music broadcast programs.

The 28-year-old idol, who stayed busy with different NCT projects last year like Ay-Yo and Fact Check with NCT 127, Perfume with NCT’s Do Jaejung, and Baggy Jeans with NCT U, is all set to greet fans as a solo singer this year. He’s planning to keep up his hard work and dedication in his solo endeavors.

It’s quite exciting for fans because this marks his debut solo album. Doyoung, who made his entrance into the music scene with NCT U’s The 7th Sense back in 2016, will now be stepping into the spotlight as a solo singer after around eight years.

Unlike previous solo tracks featured in drama soundtracks, this album will showcase Doyoung’s voice in a collection of his own songs for the first time.

Doyoung, with his sweet voice, emotional expression, and wide vocal range, is expected to show he’s the main singer of NCT with his first solo album.

Lastly, Doyoung is in the final production stages with his solo album and giving it his all. The folks at Neo Production in SM Entertainment, are also working hard to make sure Doyoung’s solo debut is a big success.
