The eagerly awaited drama, Can This Love Be Translated?, has begun filming, and the cast has arrived in Japan to shoot on location.
On June 27, Netflix confirmed the production of the drama and shared photos of the cast from the script-reading session.
Penned by Hong Sisters, the cast includes Go Yoon Jung, Kim Seon Ho, Sota Fukushi, Lee Yi Dam, Choi Woo Sung, and more.
Yoo Young Eun, known for his previous work Bloody Heart (2022), will be directing the drama.
Netflix’s Can This Love Be Translated? follows the story of Joo Ho-jin, a skilled interpreter, as he works with the charming and elusive global superstar Cha Moo-hee.
Kim Seon Ho plays the role of Joo Ho-jin, a highly skilled interpreter with expertise in multiple languages, including English, Japanese, and Italian, while Go Yoon Jung portrays Cha Moo-hee, a renowned celebrity.
Japanese actor Sota Fukushi is making his Korean debut in the Netflix series Can This Love Be Translated? He has already worked in multiple movies and TV shows including As the Gods Will, Bleach, The Women in the Lakes, Lawyer Sodom, and more.
Lee Yi Dam has also joined the stellar cast and is expected to deliver an impressive performance. So far, she is recognized for her role in Daily Dose of Sunshine, Artificial City, Black Knight, and more.
The upcoming Netflix series Can This Love Be Translated? has finalized its cast and production, and is now slated for release on the streaming platform.
As previously reported, the filming will continue until February, with the official release set for mid-2025.
