Netflix’s hit South Korean reality dating show “Single’s Inferno” has been renewed for a fifth season.
On February 13, Netflix officially greenlit Season 5 of the popular Korean dating reality show “Single’s Inferno”, also known as “Solo Hell”.
PDs Kim Jae Won, Kim Jung Hyun, and Park Soo Ji said, “We were able to reach Season 5 thanks to your great interest and love.” They added, “We will carefully listen to our viewers’ stories and come back with a more developed Season 5.”
With this, “Single’s Inferno” has become the first Korean entertainment program to be renewed for a fifth season on Netflix.
“Single’s Inferno” premiered in 2021 and has since become a wildly popular dating reality show. The series takes place on a remote island where singles live together, with the twist being that only couples can escape to a luxurious paradise.
The show’s four previous seasons ranked in the global Top 10 and achieved consecutive box office success.
“Single’s Inferno” made headlines when its first season became the first Korean entertainment show to enter the Global TOP 10 TV (non-English) category.
Season 2 kept the momentum going and stayed in the top 10 for four weeks straight, racking up 65.08 million viewers worldwide.
Season 3 took things to the next level, with its unpredictable twists and turns keeping audiences hooked. It stayed in the global top 10 for five weeks and even made it into the top 10 in 31 countries. The recently-concluded Season 4 gave viewers an unfiltered look at the singles’ lives.
As “Single’s Inferno” continues to break records, all eyes are on what romantic connections Season 5 will bring to viewers.
