New K-pop Boy Group From BTS Agency to Likely Debut in August

BIGHIT MUSIC is preparing to launch its newest boy group this August, introducing the next generation of talent under the HYBE umbrella. The upcoming group, often referred to as BTS and TXT’s “younger brother group,” will mark the label’s first major debut since TXT in 2019.

On June 17, JTBC exclusively reported that BIGHIT MUSIC (a subsidiary of HYBE) will debut a new boy group in August. Previously, there were reports that the agency is preparing to debut a new group in the third quarter of the year.

The upcoming boy band is marketed as the “young creator crew” by HYBE. The talented members will be actively involved in the music, choreography, and videos.

During a press call for HYBE’s first-quarter earnings in April, it was revealed that they participated in the music production of other HYBE groups. The label stated,

With their unique content creation skills, the new group is expected to bring a breath of fresh air to the K-pop market with their free and distinct creativity.

As the third boy group under BIGHIT MUSIC, following global sensations, BTS (2013) and TXT (2019), this debut of a self-produced group carries immense weight. As per various sources, the new boy band will have five members; the reported members include Juhoon, James, Sunghyun, Geonho, and Martin.

HYBE is set to debut a new boy group, just 1.5 years after TWS debuted in January 2024 under PLEDIS Entertainment. The entertainment agency is expanding its roster of artists with multiple debuts every year. They have recently ventured into Latin America to scout members for a Mexican group.

Meanwhile, the second half of 2025 looks bright for BIGHIT MUSIC and HYBE as BTS members have resumed activities after military service, with only Suga remaining to be discharged on June 21. They will pursue solo activities and make a group comeback by the end of this year or early 2026.
