Even with concerns that NewJeans wouldn’t reach the same level of success with their latest comeback due to the HYBE-ADOR conflict, the group has defied expectations and surpassed all expectations.

NewJeans managed to reach million-seller status for the fourth time in a row with their new album How Sweet, which dropped on May 24.

As announced by ADOR on June 8, NewJeans’ double single How Sweet, has achieved impressive sales figures, totaling 1,085,355 copies (combined across general and Weverse platforms) according to the Circle Chart’s May album chart.

So far, NewJeans has managed to place all four albums they’ve released since their debut in July 2022 on the million-seller list. Their debut album New Jeans and single album OMG sold over 1.59 million and 1.66 million copies each.

Notably, their second EP Get Up marked NewJeans’ first double million-selling album, selling over 2.14 million copies.

How Sweet secured the 119th spot in Spotify’s most recent ‘Weekly Top Song Global’ for the counting period of May 31 to June 6, maintaining its position on the charts for two weeks in a row.

On the latest US Billboard chart as of June 8, it claimed the 7th position in Global (excluding the US), the 12th spot in Bubbling Under Hot 100, and the 15th place in Global 200.

Besides that, it is dominating the domestic charts as well, ranking high on Melon, Bugs, and FLO.

On another note, NewJeans is not going to rest after releasing How Sweet, instead, they’ll be gearing up for their Japan debut next. Following that, they will hold fanmeetings Bunnies Camp at Tokyo Dome this month as well.
