No filters, no scripts, just Hanni, being her authentic self!

The NewJeans member, who just turned 20, shocked fans by sharing marriage plans with Bunnies (fandom name).

On October 7, Hanni, born in 2004, made headlines with a candid marriage confession on Phoning, a communication app for NewJeans fans.

She shared a “really big TMI” with fans saying, “My parents got married when they were 24 years old, so when I was younger I really wanted to get 24..”

She then jokingly said, “There are still 4 years left… well, you don’t know, let’s say there are still 4 years left, or 3? Is it my Korean age or my international age?”

Hanni responded to fan reactions, saying: “Why are you all taking it so seriously? It’s not like I am getting married tomorrow. There’s plenty of time to get your heart ready, don’t worry too much.”

She made headlines last month by accusing HYBE of bullying and sharing an incident where the manager told the group members to “ignore” her.

In response, ILLIT’s agency shared a statement on October 7, denying the allegations saying the incident never happened and ILLIT members never passed by without greeting NewJeans members.

In addition, NewJeans’ Hanni and ADOR CEO Kim Joo Young have been summoned to appear at the National Assembly Environment and Labor Committee’s audit session on October 25 to address workplace bullying.

On another note, NewJeans held an emergency livestream on YouTube to directly address Min Hee Jin’s dismissal as CEO. They gave HYBE an ultimatum to reinstate Min as a CEO by September 25, however, it was rejected by ADOR shareholders.
