On April 10, Bunnies received unfortunate news when ADOR announced that Hyein would temporarily halt her group activities.
ADOR disclosed that the reason for her break was a foot fracture. The agency announced that NewJeans’ Hyein will be putting a pause on her activities due to an injury sustained during practice.
Further, they mentioned, “Pain in the top of her foot during practice prompted her to the hospital, where she underwent a thorough examination and discovered a microfracture in her foot.” ADOR revealed, “The medical staff advised her to limit her movement as much as possible until she recovered.”
Following the advice of medical professionals, Hyein will pause her activities and focus on recovery and recuperation.
ADOR did not provide any specifics on Hyein’s return timeline or her involvement in future comeback activities.
NewJeans is set to make a return in May and has given a sneak peek of their new song for the upcoming comeback.
